That might sound stupid, but I almost prefer being at 1-1 rather than having a 2-0 lead that could put you in some overconfidence and release somehow the pressure and focus, even subconsciously.
You end up with a tight loss in a game you could have won without shooting yourself in the foot. Learn from it, try not to repeat those mistakes (I know...) and find other options to enter the zone when Tampa is waiting at four players on the blue line, which annoyed the Stars pretty much. If this is the best Tampa can show, then I'm not frightened at all. Generally speaking, I find this series a tone below the one vs. Colorado and Vegas so far.
And we still have the last-change advantage for what it's worth...
With Comeau down, now the team has to find the correct replacement to take silly penalties and slo-mo hockey. I'm willing to go with a young gun à la Kirivanta, but I'm pretty sure Dowling will be in.
