If the question was career playoff wins for the Stars:

Belfour: 44
Turco: 21

The Stars are 1-1 when touching the trophy, as Derian Hatcher touched it in both 1999 and 2000. That fits with the overall numbers of the past 22 Stanley Cup champions. Since 1997, 11 of the winners touched the Conference Final Trophy and 11 did not.

No way. Weird superstitions don't mean anything? huh.

The best reason not to touch is not to piss off superstitious teammates.

There is an exactly 50/50 chance you will/won't piss off/delight your superstitious teammates.

Say what you want about Barzal and you're probably not wrong. But damn, watching Gurianov wind up and lean into a one-timer is a thing of art these days.

What they need to do is start working on getting him that shot more often. Christ, go watch a few hours of Caps games. Ovechkin is essentially a blueprint for how to get open and get that shot.

If Klingberg knew how to pass for a one timer, we’d have a much more killer PP. John Carlson is gonna end up close to a HOF career just by teeing up Ovechkin all day long. Klingberg puts it in Seguin’s skates most of the time, which killed both their stats this season. But Klingberg delivered this one in the sweet spot to Gurianov, and look what happened.

Apparently, the Stars watched this as part of their pump up video before the game.

agreed. kiviranta's sweet roofer.

If I'm selling a licorice flavored liquor, though, maybe I go with the easy on the eyes transition play for marketing purposes.
