I hope Klingberg’s game one goal doesn’t go down as the only one of the series.

The lack of whistles has helped put this period away. I appreciates that about them.

Clearly the problem is team defense. Going to need a re-dedication to backchecking.

How did Reaves not get all three stars of the game?

With Hintz finally not injured, Kiviranta will be likely scratched in two days.

Ouch, Seguin just got severly critized in pretty harsh words on the TVAS post-game. Even more than Benn.

Between the two, Benn had a better game again. Neither was good, but Seguin had a bad game with and without the puck. He was fine on the PK, but even there, he was the less active forward when out there.

That was well brought up.

Puck Soup was talking about him and it was essentially “he’s good but for $13.5MM, you kind of want more, and that’s been the story for years, so not sure why the Stars gave him $13.5MM.”

When he got the big extension, it was under the belief that he had sacrificed some offense to be better in his own end. Now, it’s starting to look more like he couldn’t produce more offense even if he went full Ovechkin and rarely entered his own zone.

I'm not going to *poo poo* on Seguin. The dude is clearly hurt and he's grinding hard, it's just not there.

Positives about Oettinger:

He didn’t get scored on. I like his mask. He wears #29 and has the nickname Otter, which is a kick in the nuts to Steve Ott.

He’s always hurt when it counts.

Vegas played some real Dallas Stars hockey last night. But keeping it up is the difficult part.

Seguin has no points and is -4 in his last 6 games. At one moment the coaching staff should notice when a player is doing more harm than contributing in the team, hence making decisions for what is best for it, regardless of the paychecks. If all others scratches are unfit to play, then ok. Otherwise...

Seguin's only pretending to janmark it out there. Once teams suspect he's done, they'll focus their defense elsewhere, freeing him up for 2 or 3 hat tricks to close out the series. Classic Bowness move.

In both games Seguin has had the most ice time of any forward. Though ice time has been fairly balanced.

This pattern indicates that we'll win in 7 since we started it first LOL.
