There’s going to be a next season?

More GM’s should be like that.

It's a good read. I know a lot of fans can't handle any player ever complaining about anything, but players are still people.

Yeah - enjoyed that article. It really is impressive what Tampa and Dallas have done in these circumstances. I know I'm tired of the groundhog day nature of the past six months, and I'm able to go to the office and grocery store and go for a walk or bike ride. Combine what they have to adjust to mentally with the physical toll of playing a brutal sport essentially every other day and I don't think anyone can say this year's champion will not be deserving.

Interesting info. I hope that the players know how much us fans appreciate their sacrifice and how awesome it’s been to have hockey.

Heard that Pietrangelo was asking something in the range of $9.5M/yr. No wonder that Armstrong told him to you-know-what.

Good for him. He needs to take whatever he can get. Also, he needs to leave the Central.

Pietrangelo at least delivered a cup, unlike other over 30 captains signed to albatross deals.

So that Sceviour can lift the Cup with the Pens next season.

The Sens are buying out Masterton winner Bobby Ryan.

A washed up vet who can’t really play that well anymore but is a “good guy?” I guess we know what the Stars are going to do with the money they free up when Dobby walks.

He's one of those guys who is on a team so bad he's impossible to judge. He could be a superstar ready to do special things if he gets out of there, or he could be another Taylor Hall.

The Q isn't entirely banning fighting, but it is adding enough penalties to strongly deter fighting. Expect to see more of this in the junior leagues.

I’m fine with the concept. Most fighting left in the game these days pointless or contrived. But holy *poo poo*, they seem to be making it unnecessarily complicated.
