Janmark was indeed a person who played hockey for the Stars.

Watch him score 25 goals on Dylan Strome's wing.

Yeah, they can't have Janmark (2.25), Comeau (2.4), and Cogliano (3.25) all on the roster to do the exact same job. They've already been down the road of having 1/4 of the forward group taking up a combined $7.9 million and getting single digit goal scoring out of each of them. Keeping Janmark only works if Nill could have found a way to dump Cogliano.

Don't forget Dickinson.

I get it. The one thing they were lacking against the Stars was shots from the point.

Hell yeah. A top four defenseman for a third round pick? That makes a lot of sense. The odds of getting a player like Schmidt with a third round pick are infinitesimal.

Marleau is only 45 games away from breaking Howe's all-time games played record. I hope he does it.

You couldn’t ask for a better NHL center combo...in 2011

DIGBY, I'm so glad he's retiring. DIGBY, it's so dumb that the NHL has one guy be the voice of the entire league for every national broadcast of note for twenty years. Winter Classic? Doc. All Star Game? Doc. Stanley Cup? Doc. Olympics? Doc.

Seems like it was time. It wasn't just the most recent finals with him in his living room that had issues.

This is a cool idea. More teams should openly embrace their geographic hockey history.

The NHL owns all of these defunct trademarks. The successor teams no longer do.

The Stars wearing a Dallas Blackhawks jersey would be great.
