Must be a pretty bad wrist injury to suddenly make Seguin as slow as Oleksiak.

No back to backs. Hockey every night at 7. This is good.

Also interesting to see the Stars series get more big time NBC games in the first four. You’d think they’d be heavily pushing the NY team, but they’re actually relegating the NY team to the USA network for a game.

Are they suggesting that the Stars are winning to overcome a tornado that knocked three houses down a year and a half ago as if it’s the Saints and Katrina?

Tone it down a little, guys.

If they end up needing to sit Khudobin, we might need some #DallasStrong talk.

Looks like the Stars quickly sold out of tickets to watch the games at the AAC.

That is kinda weird that this is happening.

How weird is it gonna be for the Cup winners to win in an empty building? So strange.

I heard they’re allowing player families in for the finals, so there may be at least a handful of people there.

If I enter the bubble now and quarantine can I watch the Stars hoist the Stanley Cup in a few weeks in person?

Wait. I just realized I don't know where the Finals are being held. Which bubble?

Oh man. Hope I don't choose wrong.

You won a trip for two to beautiful Edmonton, Alberta. Now home of twelve stoplights!

Blolz I hadn't even noticed that Jim Nill was a finalist for the Jim Gregory GM of the Year Award. Winner will be announced later today?

I wasn't even aware that an award existed for GM of the year.

My theory is GMs around the league watched Nill fire his head coach at 7 am on a Tuesday for some incident that happened on a Sunday, and the details still have not leaked out. These GMs are going to give him this award for running a watertight ship.

You do have to give him credit there. For the hand they were dealt, it was handled about as well as you could possibly hope for.

In fairness to Bowness, when he took over he really didn't have much of a chance to put his stamp on systems, etc. The team doesn't really have a ton of practice time and, frankly, for a good bit of time there wasn't a lot of reason to change things. I mean, the Stars did have one of the best records in the league (except for the very start of the season and right before the pause).

This coaching staff is not stupid. I'm pretty sure they understand the strengths and weaknesses of this team. I'll give Bowness credit for adapting when given the opportunity to do so.

Since we average a decade or so between conference finals appearances, I’m not sure it really matters who coaches here for the next few years.

Is this the part where we start talking about how the team Corsi isn’t as good as the teams that have been eliminated?
