Watching tonight's game without any pressure, knowing that we are already in the SC final, will be very smooth, enjoyable and delightful.

Barzal seems to be Islanders' Janmark with skates and hands, though having the same inefficiency expect for blowing wind around him.

It is just me, or do both these teams kinda suck?

At least the refs suck: a 324-mi offside not whistled and a check in the head on center ice in front of them unnoticed as well.

When the Islanders are playing well, that’s what you get.
I think coaches need to change how guys act when their stick breaks. When a stick breaks, the player should go full sprint to the bench for either a change or new stick. The whole thing would take ten seconds at most to get to the bench and get back. I think that would help a team more than a guy without a stick skating around in the middle of the ice waiting for a whistle.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

This announcing team has effed up three times in this OT alone. Like, majorly missing what's going on on the ice.

I guess Lehner was the last non-Russian goalie in the playoffs.

Yep. It’s all Russians from here out.

Impressive: The Isles' players stickwork, team defense, and short passing ability in their own zone.
Not impressive: The way the Isles punt at the center line whenever they clear the zone.
This game has OT written all over it.

I think I cheered more than on Gurianov’s goal.

That got to be some pretty bad hockey there which pleases me.
During regulation though, Kucherov literally had 4 chances from low inside the circles. I have no idea how the Lightning were held to a goal.

Not even Eberle could miss a net that wide open.

I gave up after the first OT, just to allow the Isles scoring after 4 secs in the second OT. Eberle was a bit late though.

For the first time in my life, I'm looking forward to an Isles game.

I would like to see a Clutterbuck/Shattenkirk fight. It just feels right.
