So that where's the offense at right now: Oleksiak reviewing all five Rangers players before trying to go straight in the crease.

*Dang all Get out* I missed Gogliano's goal. Now I have to wait until December to see the next Stars multi-goal game.

9 games left, I believe. They won the Cup that year too.

If nothing else go watch the highlights of the goals against. These weren't routine goals created by New York creating quality chances. These were comical breakdowns.

The fourth is particularly brilliant: Two turnovers by Benn. Not one, Two. This should be censored in the highlights.

blolz... the Stars site shows this for the main headline about the game:

"Stars snap scoring drought in loss to Rangers"

While true, it's not really an accurate way to sum up the game.

1st goal against - Perry has his controller get disconnected when backchecking. That was his guy who scored.
2nd GA - Four Stars players watched Zinbanejad score.
3rd GA - Gurionov and Klingberg were fighting over who could do less on that play.
4th GA - My god, that pass by Benn is one I might make in my beer league hockey and feel extreme shame about. So terrible.

The second goal was beer league defending all over the place. Comeau's effort to keep the puck in at the point deflected right to Zibanejad. Zibanejad passed to Lemieux who was skating in on Johns. Johns went for the poke check and stopped skating at the same time. Lemieux easily skated past Johns. Comeau playing defense left way too much space for Zibanejad, so when the pass came out to Zibanejad, all Comeau could do was wave at it.

Third goal: four Stars players scrambling over Fast with Klingberg installing his campsite in the middle of nowhere. Perry not covering his guy (Howden), Oleksiak taking himself as a winger and ending up being the closer guy to the blueline, Gurianov trying to block the shot while being behind Kaako.

Even in a midget league you never see things like that.

At least we scored a goal in our last game.
That Hanzal's so hurt right now.
