Hopefully the Stars roll out a good game. Would be the first round playoff matchup if the playoffs started today.

Apparently Bowness will make a Radulov-Kirivanta swap. So Kirivanta on the first line with Benn and Seguin, Radulov on the fourth...

Huh. Guess he's not happy with Radulov's play.

Could be he wants to see Kirviranta a little more before they send him back down to Austin when Perry returns. Or just to mix things up. That 4th line was getting some good chances and had more ice time in the past two games. He will likely put Radulov with Benn and Seguin every few shifts anyway, so he will still get his minutes.

It's gonna be a tough game. If the Stars win, they will sweep the season series. Odds are...

In some ways, it makes sense. If you can move good offensive pieces down the lineup, it makes it harder to match up against them.

Uh, if Kiviranta and Benn are on a line together, it’s not the first line. The question is why Seguin has been demoted to the 4th line.

My bad, I looked to the lineup upside down. I think Seguin is paying the price for Janmark's good play: he's been pretty well recently so he deserved a shot on the first line.

Curve ball, Faksa is out after a collision with Radulov in practice. Not good.

I don’t expect much drop off. Dowling should be able to slide in and not score and not win faceoffs.

With an abundance of depth defenders like Fedun and Klingberg, I’m just not sure there’s room or need for Johns.

Heiskanen with a nice skate deflection. But you could see it coming from Portland, Maine. Portland, Oregon I mean.

Followed by Pollak allowing Rantanen to do a Nieuwendyk.

Stars stayed in the bus for this first period. Especially Sekera napping in the last row along with the same others.

Benn should get a minus for that.

So far Dowling is indistinguishable from Faksa.

So Gurianov has as many goals as Seguin and Benn but in less games. God our top players suck.

And Dowling >>> Pavelski.

Nobody really cares because he will be send down in the AHL, but Kirivanta is having a solid game.

And now Jamie won’t fight after repeatedly shoving Calvert.

Pretty smart of Benn to goad a better player into going into the box for five minutes.

Five minutes where we can rest easy that no one other than Radulov will take an offensive zone penalty.

Clearly Dickinson's problem all season was that he was shooting while on his skates.

Fun game. This has felt like a playoff game. I look forward to losing to the Avs in the first round.

Fabian picked a good time to score his monthly goal.
