Re: 12/19 @ Tampa
Every time I see the Tampa Bay Lightning I think about the fact that their first starting goalie was Darren "Poopa" Puppa.

And that they played Manon Rhéaume for a preseason game, the first woman to play in the NHL.
Things are still not going very well for them: Kucherov was benched from the third period in the last game where Chabot beat the League TOI record for a regular game with like 38 minutes

*Dang all Get out* Radulov, it's been a long time... The penalties cost the Stars' the game vs. Vegas, so stay the *f-bomb* out of the penalty box.

Well if it is not one of the players, it's the bench... And Polak din't cover his guy in the slot.

Polak didn’t have that guy, but also Lindell didn’t cut off that passing lane. He was just off to the side doing nothing.

What a swimming show.
Except the FCC line, changes really need to be made as this game is now pretty much lost.
Tampa on pace of getting 60 shots in this game, excuses to Khudobin to be made in the second break, Stars @ Winnipeg 2.0

Dickinson isn't very good, is he? The only time you ever hear his name is when it's "Dickinson shoots wide" or "Dickinson can't quite complete the pass."

Dickinson is fine. He’s a bottom-six guy who won’t make too many mistakes who costs not a lot. There’s nothing exciting about that, but every team needs guys who can take some minutes, kill some penalties, and generally not make things worse by being on the ice.

Khudobin was not even named one of the stars of the game. Ridiculous.

He made some great saves. The Lightning also botched a number of chances. They really should have won by three.

Severyn's face was priceless when they they saw the three stars of the game.
It's mainly local media that elects these players and I think they had the filter of seeing Tampa's spoiling their scoring changes instead of Khudobin making terrific saves. If a goalie allows more than one goal in a game, he's simply ignored. It's as stupid as that. He should have gotten star #1, #2 and #3.

Even if the Stars didn’t manage to win, he still should have been one of the Stars of the game.

Based on my following of hockey OTs this season, the key to winning in OT is to give up a glorious chance to the other team so that you yourself can get a glorious chance the other way to win it.

One of my boys and I were sitting on the couch laughing at the absurdity of that overtime sequence. But that's hockey in a nutshell. The best team doesn't always win. And if it doesn't, 90% of the time it is because of the goaltending from both teams.

If you watch the replay of the winner, think about what happen if Seguin's shot goes two inches to the right. The puck goes into the corner and up the boards to a Tampa player who goes back on Khudobin in a breakaway or 2 on 1.
3 on 3 is awesome.

It's always the goalie with you. Check your bias, boomer.

On this particular play there was room, but the peeling back Tampa forward fired it way wide. Which resulted in an amazeballs chance for Seguin.
