Is it just me or does Sekera look like Viggo Mortensen?

Polak should have gone down to block that shot. He just stood there.

Polak lost him and should have followed him back into the slot.

I'd pull Bishop now. Not that he's been bad, but to change the momentum.

Benn flubbed the four on one and then took a bad penalty to facilitate a PP goal against. Great start.

That 4 on 1... The worst option was chosen.
Despite the score, the game is quite fun.

Heiskanen looking not that great still. The Montgomery firing really does seem to have had an impact on him

Polak is also having a bad game.
Also funny how the team gave up two goals after the playful graphic showing how Bowness is the winningest coach in team history.

This game is so bad that if Monty wasn’t already fired, I’d say we should fire him.

Despite the record, they haven't looked as good under Bowness. I wish they would *fargin'* tell us what Monty did so we can decide if Jim Nill is a *fargin'* moron for firing him or not.

I guess there were more scoring chances, but gotta get more of them on net.

There were a ton that went wide or high. Which is basically the same as not even taking the shot.

Wide and high are how I like both my women and my scoring chances.

That was pretty much an inevitability. Edmonton was looking at a five game winless streak. They earned all those power plays.
Movin’ on. Let our old guys rest up for the next one. At least Seguin finally scored.

Re: 12/16 vs. Edmonton — Never change a winning team
It was like a rematch of last game with the Stars in the Preds' shoes.
Slow start with penalties in the offensive zone that killed the rhythm, Stars were stiffled by the Oilers' speed. One brain blackout by the defense on the first, the classical Oilers PP with a great play by Chiasson for the second and that was it. Then trailing riskier hockey with overall bad execution (hoy many passes in the back of forwards ?). Edmonton managed to hold the score with their questionable defense.
Sucks to get no points in this division where everybody constantly wins, but in terms of the game itself I didn't find the loss dramatic. Still stuff to correct though.
