Janmark was out? I guess it’s hard to tell the difference with him.

That was a really fast and fun first period. This one has OT loss written all over it too LOL.

Interesting explanation on the Winnipeg challenge. I was sure the initial call would have been overturned.

Now that Benn seems to have some confidence again he's back to terrible turnovers

Miro fell down in a really elite way on that 2 on 1.

I will never get used to depth scoring. Although I did say that about good goaltending at one point.

I'd say category 3 over 5 on the Ledyard Scale.

I guess Benn just made up for that mistake that lead to Winnipeg's first goal.

The 3 goal lead at first felt a little bit unearned though so I don't think I was too surprised when the Stars coughed it up.

Anyone else is think it's almost better that Winnipeg worked their way all the way back from a 3 goal deficit just to get 0 points anyway?

Fun.

I had no expectations whatsoever of Corey Perry and I even forgot that we had signed him. He's been kind of awesome recently.

Agree 100%. We should blow more three-goal leads just to toy with the rest of the league.

We sat behind the guy with the ginger mullet in section 121. Worth every penny.

He has. He’s slow as can be, but his hands are still there. He makes some great passes.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

I didn't really noticed him until it was 3-0, Perry having 3 assists and being +3. Then I looked back the replays and watched him more carefully to come up with the conclusion that the played absolutely great, and not only this game.

He's definitely not this stingy sniper anymore, his role logically changed, but he really seems to like it. He'll always have this tremendous vision and his role of the agitator in the crease is pretty nice.

I used to hate him for years, but I think we made peace.

My wife and I were close to him opening night and he is fun to watch. It is a glorious mullet that appears real. At first I thought it must be a wig, but now I think it's real.

A lot of times when we cycle in the offensive zone, I feel like it's just about killing clock and we (the Stars) never get many chances off it. We rag a little bit of time, try nothing, and then we shift.

But recently we're sometimes producing chances off of it, and I feel like he's one of the factors helping that.

I don't really expect these lines to singlehandedly win a lot of games, but it helps when they contribute to some.

Perry is painfully slow, but he still has the knack of being in the right position at the right time, either to score or to set up chances.

I haven't been able to watch one single second of the season so far, but from the highlights, it seems early in the season most (all?) of our goals were long bombs followed by tremendous individual efforts (from Hintz). Recent goals seem to start in the offensive zone, are created by turnovers, rebounds from shots from the point, etc. So maybe Monty finally allowed them to play offense in the offensive zone.
