Get him on the power play for the 3rd period. Either coaching or playing, I don’t care.

He took an open ice check and went right off after that. Could’ve exacerbated the puck injury from earlier.

That’s kinda what I wonder. Did getting his head moved around by the check bring the prior puck headshot worse?

I see we still have our breakaway scoring issues.

Damn. Razor just said Zubov has been hired to review the team’s talent and the PP. You might get your wish.

Advice: give Klingberg more cigarettes.

LBI for Klingberg hence the limping to the bench.

Zubov pro tip #1: Wedge your cigarette between your visor and helmet so you don’t have to skate back to the bench for a puff.

And now The Dick appears to be hurt, but that's to be expected. This upcoming time off turned out to be sorely needed.

NAILED IT!!!

Nah, seriously. Colorado sucked. Colorado's shot totals ultimately look fine, but their 20th shot came with 10 minutes left a (basically over) game on the 6th power play.

I don't even feel bad at Radulov getting those 2 stupid penalties against Mackinnon. At least he was harassing the only noticeable player on the Avs.

Is he gonna review tape and then be like "So this number 14, he good third liner. How much he making?", hear the answer, and then die of a heart attack.

And they got back to this point even with very little help from the big salary guys. Pretty amazing. It shouldn’t be working.

Also it's getting a bit ridiculous. That team sucked tonight and both Benn and Seguin had wide open lanes to the net multiple times. It's time to score some *fargin'* goals, guys.

Positive note: Gurianov didn't seem to be out there enough, but he is looking really scary right now. I like it.

For all the stuff NHL teams say about “you can’t teach size,” well, you can’t really teach speed either and being *fargin'* fast is better in this day and age than being damn big.

Not only did Dicky have a sweet first shift, game changing goal, he played great defensively. Very noticeable.

He did actually. But everyone kinda did too. Colorado did not play well, sans Mackinnon.

I called it... completely wrong.

If he ends the season with 10-15 goals, that seems fine to me, especially given where he slots on the team.

The power play looked different. Not productive, but more movement and crisp passing. Hopefully the production will come just from having Zubov around.

I will say I know Colorado was missing some guys, but the PK was kind of awesome.
